- Tube of Seal All
- 1 in PVC cap (Sized to Fit My Motor)
- Tube of Plumbers Grease
- Some Rubber (Inner Tubes Work Well)
- Some Cheap Pipe or Coupling that the Motor Fits in Well
- DC Motor
- A Washer that Will Cover Up the Holes Where the Shaft Comes Out of the Motor
- A Thruster Propeller
Tools needed:
- Drill and Drill Bit (slightly larger than the motor shaft
- Saw
- Q-tips
- Scissors
- Needle
Step One:
Using a drill bit that is slightly larger than the motor shaft drill a hole in the center of the cap. (Note: I had to use a Dremel to enlarge the inner dimension of the cap as well.) Make sure the shaft aligns up with the hole. Go up a size on the drill bit if necessary.
